The City of Burien’s King County District Court needed a solution to improve glass safety while also cutting glare and blocking unwanted heat. With large windows facing public walkways, both visibility and temperature control were becoming concerns.

We installed Solar Gard safety film (Silver 20, 8mil) with a Dowsil 995 black anchoring system — the same setup used at other government facilities across the region. It reinforces the glass, reduces heat gain, and provides enhanced privacy during the day thanks to its reflective exterior.
