Northgate Station is a crucial transit hub in North Seattle, WA. Originally, the transit center opened in 1992 and immediately became a major hub for North Seattle busses. Since then, the center has grown significantly, and in October 2021, Northgate station and a pedestrian bridge over Interstate 5 opened. The station’s strategic location makes it an important link for shopping, work, and leisure activities. Sound Transit aims to “connect more people to more places” in a stress-free and efficient way at all their stations, especially busy ones like Northgate. To ensure their clients’ safety, Sound Transit prioritizes the appearance of their facilities. They want to prevent taggers from damaging glass surfaces and maintain the clean look of the station.

Our team removed over 100 windows defaced by graffiti and installed new 4-mil anti-graffiti window film. This film safeguards glass surfaces against paint, permanent markers, etching, and scratching. Furthermore, it can be easily cleaned without strong chemicals. In case of major damage, our client can avoid the high costs of glass replacement, making this film a practical and economical solution.
