Anti-Graffiti film for Sound Transit’s Tukwila Station, WA
We are happy to share another application of anti-graffiti film for Sound Transit’s Station (this time, in Tukwila). Once again, the company prioritized the safety and aesthetics of their property.
Tukwila is located in King County, the area which is known for being home to many world-known businesses. However, it also faces some challenges in terms of crime and safety, with property crime being the most common. As a suburban transportation and trading center, Tukwila houses diverse industries, including aerospace, e-commerce, retail, and logistics. Unsurprisingly, public transportation suffers the most from vandalism. Taggers are attracted to buses, trains, and transit stations. Thus, they use paint or permanent markers; they scratch glass surfaces to damage property. That’s why our client, Sound Transit, decided to enhance their facility’s safety and appearance.
We used a 4-mil Llumar anti-graffiti film for Sound Transit’s Tukwila Station and installed it across the entire station, providing glass protection. This nearly invisible coating strengthens glass surfaces, deterring tagging and graffiti. One can easily clean spray paint from the film without using strong chemicals. In cases of greater damage, we can effortlessly remove or replace it.
Sound Transit aims to “connect more people to more places” in an efficient, stress-free, and environmentally sustainable way. The company cares about its clients and provides transit services to improve the quality of life of all community members. So, our team is proud to support their vision by applying anti-graffiti film, contributing to a safer and more enjoyable transit experience for all the citizens of Tukwila.
