Safety, Privacy, and Anti-Graffiti for Downtown Public Health Center in Seattle

One of such centers, the Downtown Public Health Center in Seattle, reached out to our team to enhance the protection for both their patients and the facility. We are glad we have assisted them by applying our safety, privacy, and anti-graffiti films.

The Downtown Public Health Center in Seattle is located in King County, the most populous county in the state of Washington. The majority of its citizens, two-thirds, live in the suburbs of Seattle. Being full of urban and suburban areas, King County has offered a great start for a significant number of world-known businesses. However, the problem with property crime is an issue, as it is the most frequent type of crime there. Vandals, especially taggers, destroy the landmarks, whereas break-ins influence the safety of the area. For that reason, it was crucial to protect our client’s building from both of the mentioned crimes. A great solution was the combination of a 14-mil Armorcoat Clear safety and security, a 7-mil Graffitigard, and byDesign Modern Dusted Crystal films by Solar Gard.

The films we used

We applied a 14-mil Armorcoat Clear film and enhanced its durability by attaching it to the window frame with silicone DowSil 995. This film strengthens glass surfaces and prevents the pieces of broken glass from flying around in case of damage. Moreover, it provides UV protection, energy efficiency, and glare reduction. 

Additionally, we installed a 7-mil Graffitigard on all ground-level windows to preserve of the building. Now, paint, permanent markers, or etching won’t harm the glass. What is more, the film can be easily cleaned without using strong chemicals or replaced if necessary. 

For privacy, we used byDesign Modern Dusted Crystal on all glass surfaces(4 ft tall), decorating the windows with Red Vinyl for aesthetics. Thus, no annoying onlookers can invade the privacy of our clients and their patients.
